Lessons from Morocco

salam alaykum

I’ m back from holidays. I really enjoyed them. Seems to me the further I go away, the more relaxed I am.

I met lots of wonderful people, saw interesting culture/landscape/cuisine and so on. The most suprising thing was the humor of the people.

To make the whole thing even more complex I started observing me observing, learning and enjoying.

(Yes, I can not slow down)

My lesson:

When you go to another country for holidays you go there to experience one or more of these points:

  • Cuisine
  • Party
  • Sun
  • People
  • Culture
  • History
  • Language
  • Landscape

Decide what you want to experience and be open for it. Be also open to be changed by this.

I would love to explain Morocco to you, but I do not have the words – neither German nor English – to get close to that.
